Duke and Curly 2

A little secret about our pal, Duke. He may look big and tough, but he's really a softie! He lives in a herd of geldings and mares and when a young mare had her first colt, Duke appointed himself their guardian. He won't let any other horses get near. This big gelding acts like the proud papa. The baby loves him and sometimes follows Duke around instead of his mama. In this shot the baby is just days old.
